Dear EMBC Delegates,
I am pleased to inform you that EMBO announced the new activities and funding schemes you proposed to increase the participation of life scientists throughout Europe.
For the next three years, life scientists in or going to eligible countries (currently Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovenia, and Turkey) will be able to apply to these schemes: the new EMBO Advanced Collaboration Grants, five additional EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships for applicants wishing to conduct their postdoctoral research in one of the above countries, EMBO Lecture Courses and EMBO Lecture Series.

If your country wishes to apply to EMBC to join the scheme, please let the EMBC office know. The current status will be discussed at the EMBC Meeting in November and new applications approved by Conference in writing after the meeting.
